Lady Saffir Weaver will once again be hosting the newest NRWC Tradition, Family Fun Day! From Classes to Activities and more there is something for everyone to enjoy!

For children to participate in any of the Family Fun Day Activities/classes an adult is required to be present/participate. An adult can participate with more than one child if needed.

All Awards will be handed out at each scored activity.



This year's Family Fun Day will include the following Activites/Classes:

  1. Teacher's Name: Lady Saffir Weaver
  2. Class Name: Story Stone Making
  3. Class Description: Come join Lady Saffir Weaver and try your skill at making your own Story Stones.
  4. Class Size Limit: 15 Child/Adult Teams
  5. Class Participant Age Requirements: Adult accompanied by a child age 1 to 17 years old.
  6. Class Cost: Free
  7. Materials/ tools participants will need to bring: None
  8. Class Scheduled for: FAMILY FUN DAY ACTIVITY 10am Sunday A&S Area 3
  1. Teacher's Name: Lady Saffir Weaver
  2. Class Name: Lord Punch and Lady Judy Puppet Show
  3. Class Description: Come join Lady Saffir Weaver and her puppets for a slapstick traditional children's entertainment in which a man, Lord Punch, argues with his wife, Lady Judy and other fun Characters.
  4. Class Size Limit: None
  5. Class Participant Age Requirements: Adult accompanied by a child age 1 to 17 years old.
  6. Class Cost: Free
  7. Materials/ tools participants will need to bring: None
  8. Class Scheduled for: FAMILY FUN DAY ACTIVITY 11am Sunday - A&S Area C AG Center
LUNCH BREAK
  1. Teacher's Name: Lady Saffir Weaver
  2. Class Name: Lord Punch and Lady Judy Puppet Show

  2. Class Name: Mini Catapult Shooting
  3. Class Description: Come join Lady Saffir Weaver and try your skill at shooting mini catapults at various targets. Teams of one Adult and one Child will compete to see who the Champ is. Three prizes will be awarded for this activity based on team scores (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place). Awards will be presented at the end of the activity.
  4. Class Size Limit: 15 Child/Adult Teams
  5. Class Participant Age Requirements: Adult accompanied by a child age 1 to 17 years old.
  6. Class Cost: Free
  7. Materials/ tools participants will need to bring: None
  8. Class Scheduled for: FAMILY FUN DAY ACTIVITY 2pm Sunday A&S Area 3
  1. Teacher's Name: Lady Saffir Weaver
  2. Class Name: Saffir's Frog Clout
  3. Class Description: Come join Lady Saffir Weaver and try your skill at tossing a Frog, Clout style. No real frogs will be used in this activity. Teams of one Adult and one Child will compete to see who the Saffir's Frog Clout Champ is. Three prizes will be awarded for this activity based on team scores (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place). Awards will be presented at the end of the activity.
  4. Class Size Limit: 15 Child/Adult Teams
  5. Class Participant Age Requirements: Adult accompanied by a child age 1 to 17 years old.
  6. Class Cost: Free
  7. Materials/ tools participants will need to bring: None
  8. Class Scheduled for: FAMILY FUN DAY ACTIVITY 3pm Sunday A&S Area 3
  1. Teacher's Name: Lady Saffir Weaver
  2. Class Name: Wooden & Paper Dragon Making
  3. Class Description: Come join Lady Saffir Weaver and make your own wooden and/or paper dragons.
  4. Class Size Limit: 10 Child/Adult Teams
  5. Class Participant Age Requirements: Adult accompanied by a child age 1 to 17 years old.
  6. Class Cost: Free
  7. Materials/ tools participants will need to bring: None
  8. Class Scheduled for: FAMILY FUN DAY ACTIVITY 4pm Sunday A&S Area 3
